Pietro Boroli


Born in Novara on November 21, 1957, Pietro Boroli graduated in Political Science at the University of Pavia. In 1979 he began working with the De Agostini Geographic Institute, covering the position of assistant to the general manager from 1981 to 1983, then the position of advertising manager in 1984, commercial director of files and magazines since 1985, and director of the division collectible from 1990, with coordinating the international and Italian activities.

In 1993 he became general manager of the company, then he was appointed managing director and vice-president in 1999 and president of the publishing sub-holding, De Agostini Editore, in 2003.

In 2007 he joined Banzai as a founding member. To date, in addition to being a member of the Board of Directors, Pietro Boroli is vice-president and member of the Executive Committee of De Agostini SpA, Chairman of De Agostini SpA Books and De Agostini Publishing SpA, and Director of Zodiak Media SA, Chairman of SGP (which controls the "Corriere di Novara" and the "Eco di Biella"), director of Venchi SpA, Lavazza SpA, Rubinetterie SpA, Fondazione Teatro Coccia of Novara and Fondazione Achille and Giulia Boroli.
